Splendid!

Her pose, her facial expression and her leg in the background are all excellently composed!

Just one small minor thing...

You have been a member since 2003. Now you have everyones attention since joining elite. People comment your artwork and spend time on your posts. Don't you think it is also time for You too give some of all that knowledge and experience to some of the other members of gfx. I though at least that this was one of the purposes of gfx, but I might be wrong!

It is about Giving and Receiving as Joey in famous television show "Friends" would have said it! :p

Hi moserArtist,

Actually I do comment, just not as frequently as most of the regulars here do. Because many times when I like a piece of work and there's nothing to crit, I'll simply have nothing to say. Many other times when I see something that I don't like, or what, it's either not my field of specialty or my taste so I am not in the right position to crit or comment.

I have little experience in photography, I picked it up somewhere in the middle of this year, I do not think I am capable of giving any comments to people who're much more experienced than I am here yet. I am, also, not a painter, what most people here are. And rarely if I find something to say, it'd probably have been brought up by numerous members before me already on their comments. So... I hope you understand.

Good pose, nice warm lighting and a lovely model.

Thanks, I understand (sort of) :) ...

I just think we (ie gfx members in general) should not be so afraid of commenting others work.

We are, most of us, mainly amateurs so we should be entitlted to say things we feel even if it might be considered wrong by others (whoever desides that?!).

I just feel that there are way to few who comment versis posts on gfx.

I still respect your call on this, of course! :)

I would love a frame.

If it came down to experience... I would not comment, since I've not long been into "active" photography.
However, I try to put into words what I feel when looking at a picture.
Wheter it's about a different crop, some tonal adjustments or other stuff.
Some people would like kicking my a** as I often find something to crit.
But I mean in as in: "widening one's horizon to other opinions" and not only
writing a bad crit.

As for your images: They are good. I also think it's an advantage to have Asian female models. They look gorgeous and it takes not extensice time
for make up and posing if the face itself is interesting to a "normal western" viewer.

Here, the pose is nice, also the clothes go well along with the gentle and soft body lines that finally lead to the above mentioned face with an effective hair cut.

Overall, it's simply but effectively lit.

It's beautiful! I love the softness and warmth it express. I would have loved to see more shots from the same photo session. ;)

I don't think being a member of GFX requires participation in the social area.
Everyone should decide for him/herselves.

Anyway. Nice photograph. But I think that if you'd just manip the ear away it would make a world of difference.

she looks very pretty... i like this perspective. see... i really think your photos of yun make her looks always even more prettier o_o.

moserArtist: I guess it's also part of my slightly introvert personality at work... But yeah, I have stated. It's roughly why I don't comment much. ^^;

ogu: No space! hahaha.

MrBlue: Thanks. Well to westerners it may be an advantage, but really only having asian models at hand is a disadvantage to me right now. Because if you shoot too many Asians, clients and stuffs always think you are less professional. Which is REALLY bad. It is to the extend that people with works which are really bad can get a decent amount of jobs just because their books include numerous caucasians and western faces.

SandraS: Thank you! I will post! I will try not to clutter too many pieces. ;_;

ARTOONATOR: Thanks. I will. I actually didn't notice it when I was doing my post processing. ^^;

acida: Thank you.

"If you shoot too many Asians, clients and stuffs always think you are less professional." First of all, what an unprofessional attitude! You are a photographer and have different viewpoint and that shows your style and abilities...That's the important think sholud be..
Agree with Mr Blue; charming pose and gorgeous model. That 's an advantage to have Asian female models. Mood, facial expression and composition looking quite good. Congratulations Jingna.

i don't know why you all are caring so much. just because people post doesn't mean they have much time to comment on others people's artwork. posting takes like... 3m? commenting takes a bit more i suppose, mostly looking at all technical aspects and everything. also like she said... sometimes there's no comment to do, usually i come here and only vote and my last comments haven't been much helpful.

Iīm also just an amateur. But I try to comment others artworks. Even if I could only say "Itīs beautiful" or "Itīs amazing" (if itīs better [in my opinion] than only "beautiful" ).
I know that I canīt give helpful comments or critics, but i think for the artist itīs great when he / she see people that say they like his / her artworks.

P.S.: This is again a really great artwork from you, zemotion.
All of your artworks are very interesting! :)
